Foreign policy

In total, more than 1,200 people outside of Iraq and Syria have been killed in attacks inspired or coordinated by the Islamic State. How do you plan on stopping outside attacks?

In 2014, ISIS controlled more than 34,000 square miles in Syria and Iraq, from the Mediterranean coast to south of Baghdad. At the end of 2016, ISIS territory had shrunk to about 23,320 square miles, according to IHS Jane's. How do you plan on shrinking their territory more?

At least 18,802 civilians have been killed in Iraq in ISIS-linked violence in under two years, with millions of others forced from their homes and thousands more held as slaves. How do you plan on helping civilians?

The formal troop cap is 503 troops, but commanders have the authority to temporarily exceed that limit. The United States is sending an additional 400 troops to Syria to help prepare for the looming fight for Raqqa. What’s your strategy in sending troops into Syria?

As for foreign aid, the US spends nearly $49 billion. Do you plan on cutting or adding to this number?
